Open Studio Trial

This is perfect if you are interested in experiencing a self-guided clay practice in the context of a smaller community studio. You can expect to create 2-5 projects depending on your capacity.

The trial is also great option for someone interested in joining the open-studio membership long-term.

Hours:

Mondays 3pm - 7pm

Wednesday 11am - 7pm

Saturday 10am - 2pm

Includes:

One month of unlimited time in the hand-building studio, during scheduled hours. You will have an abundance of hand-building tools, communal shelf space, and all of your materials and firing costs are included with the monthly fee.

Education:

Open studio is primarily self-guided, but my studio tech or I will be around during open studio time to answer questions and help show you around.

You will have access to an in-person demo. The topics will vary monthly and are designed to deepen understanding of the craft as a whole. It be a glazing technique, learning to pour plaster, make stamps, or even how to schedule a kiln firing.

Materials and Firing

You will receive 10 LB of clay at the start of your membership and can access more as needed.

Underglazes are available for adding painted details to your pots, and you can opt to glaze projects yourself or we can glaze your work for you.

Ceramic projects generally take 4-6 weeks from beginning to end.

Open Studio Trials are now available for purchase. You can choose to utlized the trial pass in January or February 2026. Open studio trials will be available again in early Fall 2026. Thanks for your understanding!
